Farren grew up dancing ballet and contemporary dance across Canada, and later traveled to Japan to perform with professionals. She moved from British Columbia to Montreal to pursue dance, until a serious ankle injury ended her career.
Farren began taking Stott Pilates lessons to aid in her rehabilitation, and soon after she became certified and began teaching. Furthering her teaching training in B.C. and Montreal, Farren loves the freedom of movement Pilates offers. She is certified in Stott Pilates Mat and Reformer Level 1 and 2. As well, she holds her Stott training in CCB, Injury and Special Populations, V2 Max, Anatomy as well as multiple Stott Pilates workshops.
She completed her B.A. at Concordia University, and is now pursuing her Masters in Physiotherapy. A graduate of École Supérieure de Ballet du Quebec in Montreal, Farren’s love of dance has been continued through Pilates. With 7 years of teaching experience, she hopes to help other experience the joy of movement through Pilates.
